Timber Sandwich Chalkboard

The Timber Sandwich Board is a traditional rustic A-frame style sandwich with a chalkboard finish on both sides.

The Chalkboard surface is a special self-adhesive vinyl we apply to the surface of the boards, it's not a chalkboard paint. The advantages are a smoother more durable finish, even colour, and works well with chalk sticks and most liquid chalk pens. We also provide a test piece of chalkboard vinyl to test the pens on to ensure they are compatible.

The signboard is made from an Aluminium Composite Material (ACM). These boards have a black Polyethylene core sandwiched between 2 thin aluminium panels which form the outer surface. The result is a smooth, strong, lightweight sheet which will not rust or deteriorate when used outdoors.

The timber frame is made in NZ from local timber, with is flamed and stained to give a rustic look.
